This notice explains how personal data is processed when you use BabyDoo, select a store, create an account or make a purchase.
1. Who processes data
The controller for a sale and order management is the store shown at checkout and in the confirmation. The platform operator processes data required for shared services. Full identification and contact details must be shown in the footer and order communications.
2. Data collected
We may process identity and contact data, addresses, order, return, preferred-store, wallet and promotion information, plus technical and security data. Full card details are handled directly by the payment provider.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide accounts and services, enter into and perform orders, deliver products, provide support, meet tax duties, prevent fraud and protect the service. Marketing communications and non-essential tools are used only where an appropriate legal basis exists, including consent where required.
4. Recipients
Data may be shared with the selling store, payment providers, carriers, hosting, technical support, email and security suppliers, and authorised advisers, only as necessary. They act as independent controllers or processors according to their role.
5. Retention
Data is kept as long as needed for the stated purposes and legal duties. Orders and tax records follow civil and tax periods; accounts and preferences remain while active or until a compatible request is made; security data is retained for periods proportionate to risk.
6. Transfers and security
Where a supplier processes data outside the EEA, GDPR safeguards are adopted. Appropriate technical and organisational safeguards are used, although no internet-connected system can eliminate all risk.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw consent without affecting prior processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
