General Terms of Sale
Last updated: 26 September 2026
These terms govern use of the BabyDoo platform and online purchases from stores in the network. The store shown in the cart, checkout and order confirmation is the seller of the relevant products.
1. Platform and seller
BabyDoo brings independent physical stores together in one digital experience. Each product belongs to a specific store. Products from different stores create separate carts, orders, payments and shipments; the seller's identity and contact details are shown before purchase and in the order details.
2. Account and use
Users must provide accurate data, safeguard their credentials and use the service lawfully. We may restrict access in cases of fraud, abuse, infringement of third-party rights or security compromise, in accordance with applicable law.
3. Second-hand products
Products are mainly pre-owned and often available as a single item. The listing, photographs, measurements, condition, disclosed defects and price form part of the pre-contractual information. Normal signs consistent with the described condition are not characteristics of a new product.
4. Prices, availability and orders
Prices, taxes and shipping charges are displayed before payment. Placing an order entails an obligation to pay. Many products are unique items also displayed in the physical store, so availability is checked and reserved when the order is placed. The order is processed after payment confirmation; shipping confirmation is sent separately. In the event of a simultaneous sale, unavailability or an obvious error, the store informs the customer and fully refunds any amount collected.
5. Payments
Available methods are shown at checkout and may include cards and PayPal through the payment provider. BabyDoo does not store full card details. Fraud checks or authentication requests may delay or prevent authorisation.
6. Shipping and delivery
Each store prepares and ships its order to the address provided. Costs and estimated times are shown at checkout and do not guarantee delivery on a precise date. Where available, the store provides the carrier and tracking link. On delivery, customers should inspect the packaging and immediately report damage, tampering or missing parcels to the carrier, accepting the parcel with reservations where appropriate; statutory rights remain unaffected.
7. Withdrawal, returns and refunds
For distance purchases, consumers may withdraw within 14 days of delivery, subject to statutory exceptions. Products must be returned to the selling store according to the instructions provided. Timing, return costs and refund methods are communicated before the procedure, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
8. Legal guarantee
The selling store is responsible for conformity defects under Italian consumer law. For used goods, any reduction of the liability period must be expressly agreed and may not be shorter than one year. Age, prior use and the product description remain relevant.
9. Promotions, support and applicable law
Promotions, vouchers and wallet credits follow the rules shown for each initiative; returns or cancellations may reverse them. Customers can contact the store shown in the order for support. Italian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory rights and the consumer's competent court.
These texts describe the intended operation of the BabyDoo platform. Before final publication they must be reviewed and completed with company details, controllers, actual suppliers and each store's operational procedures.
